The recipes for Lali’s comes from my grandma Lalita. She is born in Mauritius, and has preserved her ancestral traditions and magical recipes, and passed them through generations, until today.
Currently, we are producing two major flavors, Ghantiya and Chevro. You can choose spicy and non-spicy, of our homemade snacks. In an effort to reach out to the Mauritian people and provide them with a snack that will bring them joy, uniqueness, and unity, we have faithfully preserved the original recipes.
Several major hotel chains and even some grocery store stands now carry our products. We are striving to build a strong presence in the local markets while also elevating our brand and products.
Lasty, our snacks are 100% vegan, gluten free and 100% bio.
A young, ambitious entrepreneur is the driving force behind Lalita’s Snacks. Following the completion of his Higher Diploma in Hospitality & Management, Yudhisteer Varjangbhay established this business. He set a lofty goal of starting the Lali’s brand in his hometown with the help of his grandmother, Lalita, who gave him the family’s original recipes.
Trail running, kayaking, and hiking are some of his favorite pastimes. He plans to achieve great things in the future and is hell-bent on doing so.
